Skincare Routine

Hello beautiesssss
My skincare routine is one that I take quite seriously. I have always believed that your makeup only looks as good as the surface that it's on. Therefore, my skincare regime is very important to me. I like to try on different products religiously so I can find ones that work the best for me. However, my most recent routine features some of the best products that I have used for my skin so far. I use the same products for my morning and night routine, but my night routine is a little bit more hefty just because I really want the products to sink into my skin while I sleep. Plus, I always feel I can sleep so much better when my face feels clean and refreshed.

For Cleansing
Cleansing my face, in my opinion, is the most important step because I love my makeup and I do wear a lot of it everyday. As much as I love it however, it is important for me to make sure I am removing ALL of it at the end of the night. In order to achieve that, I love using the Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm to remove my makeup. This kind of technology is super interesting to me because it is in the formula of a balm inside the packaging and once you put it on your face and start rubbing it around, it turns into an oil that just melts off every trace of makeup on your face. It works so well! It removes my foundation, concealer, mascara, eyeshadows, and even my lip stains. I find that even though it turns into an oil formula it's still non-greasy and doesn't leave my face oily.  My face always feels so clean after using this. Next, I will use my Neutrogena Make-up Remover Cleansing Towlettes in the blue packaging to remove any makeup that the balm didn't remove but most of the time the towelettes come off white still meaning the balm has removed it all. Next, I will cleanse my face my using my Nivea Exfoliating Scrub and/or Soya C Clarifying Cleanser by Pharma Skincare. I like to interchange between these two cleansers and they both work so well. I use both with my exfoliating tool scrub. This one is very similar to the Luna 2, which is very popular and dermatologist recommended.

For Toning & Moisturizing
Once my face is clean, I immediately apply my Soya C Purifying Toner. This toner contains vitamins that enriches the skin with nutrients. My face always feels super refreshed after using this product. Then I will apply my Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration by First Aid Beauty. This is by far the best moisturizer I have ever used for my skin because I have normal/dry skin. It is super rich and hydrating and very long lasting as well. Next, I like to apply my Eye Lift Firming Treatment by Murad. It makes my eyes looks much more lifted, which is great because I suffer from really bad eye bags. So these help make me look much more awake when I wake up. Next, I like to apply my Maracuja Oil by Tarte. I like to apply this last because I want to make sure it sinks into my skin while I sleep and I find that when I wake up, my skin looks much more hydrated, even-toned, and non-greasy.

Masks
Face masks are essential to my skincare routine. Although, I am religious about my morning and night routines, face masks are a vital addition for my skin. I use masks every three to four days and I like to always switch it up. My favourite exfoliating mask is the Clear Improvements Active Charcoal Mask by Origins. I have been using it for about two years now and I find that it really does clear my pores and dissolves my impurities. I absolutely love it. I also like to use Acnecare Microepidermal mask stick by Pharma Skincare. I like to apply this on my breakouts and I find that it just clears it much faster than usual. I also like to use my spot treatment by Kate Somerville. It works really well to dry out the breakout so it makes it heal and diffuse the breakout quickly. Since these masks are exfoliating, I like to make sure I use a hydration mask as well and my favourite for that is the Multiberry Yogurt Repairing Mask by Laneige. Its super soothing and makes my skin feel much more firm and plump.

I hope this post gives you some ideas for some products that you could use to add into your daily skincare routine. I have normal skin with some dry spots so these are some of the products that has worked the best for me. Thank you to Pharmaskincare for allowing me to feature some of your products for my post.

Thanks for reading & I hope you enjoyed!
